Mosquito eradication program underway The starting point of today's spraying was just 50 yards from my house. When I heard the motor of the portable spray unit, I had less than a minute to dash and close all windows and doors, to avoid the toxic fumes from entering the house. If you live in the city, expect the eradication program to visit your neighborhood this week

1964 Bangkok Canal and river cruise Came across this video. It stirred up lot's of memories of a similar trip I took in 1969. Many of the canals are gone now.
