Thank You Very Much Sakon City version of emergency road service

So I'm cruising on my motorcycle through town, getting water thrown in my face, someone even smeared powder on my glasses, so I could see nothing.  It's Songkran.

Then my motorcycle conked out. Crazy thing, it would start and run fine in low idle, but as soon as I gave it a bit gas it would conk out.
I'm sitting at the edge of an intersection wondering what to do now.  Along came a couple teenagers and they tried for a while to get the motor started. No luck.
They took me to a motorcycle repair shop, but those people were in party mode and wanted nothing to do with my motorcycle.

The two boys then brought their motorcycle and pushed mine through town.
You put one foot on the disable motorcycle and drive.  We wound up at the private hospital.  Across the street is a shop operated by Sakon football team management who knew me.

Before I could explain anything, I had a beer in my hand.
After the beer they explained to the boys where I lived and we were off again.
When they got me to ITU road, within walking distance from my home, they refused a financial reward.
It turned into a bit of an argument, but I persisted and they took the money.

And that's why I love Thailand
Sakon Nakhon
