Starting on my thirteenth year in Sakon Nakhon

Getting ready to apply for another year long retirement visa.  Asked what documents I'd be needing to see if there are any changes from last year.  I was shown the requirements posted on the wall.  In past years a letter from my bank, copy of house papers and ID card of house owner were required.  Don't see these items on the list.
But then there is that sentence "Immigration officials reserve the right to request additional documents."  Guess I'll go in a day before with the listed documents and have them tell me what else they want to see.
The obvious change seems to be that every document has to be in duplicate

Hi Hans, since you were living in Sakon Nakhon for 13 years I was wondering, if you could give some tips for things to do at weekend? For example I know, that there are 3 national parks in close proximity of Sakon Nakhon (10 Km - 80 Km). It's really nice to go there with your friends, swim in the waterfalls and look around.

Do you have any other tips what to do in Sakon Nakhon at weekend? Places to go etc. Maybe you could post an article about that in the future, because it's really hard to find anything in english at the internet.

Thanks ;)

Recommend an afternoon at Wat Phra That Phu Phek Over 400 steps to the top, but the view is worth it. Staff at the temple at the bottom of the climb is quite helpful. Let them tell you the legend behind the temple
