US taxes are due this year on April 17, as the usual day April 15 is on a Sunday. US taxpayers living abroad receive an automatic 2 month extension with a due date of June 15. HOWEVER, if you have taxes due, you may be liable for 2 months interest. I calculated my taxes in January and discovered I owe an extra $50. Just recalculated my taxes and discovered I am to receive a $50 refund. Think I'll rest a few days and recalculate. |
