Added my personalized google map on the map page (link above).

The map is far from perfect. Some glitches in getting directions.
Don't depend on the Get directions.



Directions from the Grand Palace Hotel to the airport wrongly lead you onto a back road, and has you driving on the runway to get to the terminal.
Ain't gonna work.



Got directions from The Sakol Palace Hotel to Eddies Branch.
The directions avoid major (speedier) main roads.
Instead direct you on secondary slightly potholed roads.
The map allows you to alter the route by dragging the route (sample below).

Getting to Sakon Nakhon by Air

Sakon Nakhon Airport (SNO) is served by PB Air,
operating an Embraer 145 LR (Brazilian) Jet.
The aircraft has one of the best safety records in aviation.

Daily flights between Bangkok and Sakon Nakhon last 55 minutes.
and include Meals and drinks.

The airline has a frequent flier program PB Air

The great little airline - microscobic rate cut

PB Air has anounced a reduction of fuel charges to take effect December 15.
Present fuel surcharges are 850 baht.
New rates announced are 750, a 100 baht savings.

The airline offers frequent flier miles through their Saen Sabai program.
