Even though I once again received tickets for grandstand seating, I was a bit under the weather and had to forgo the final festivities.

Rice harvest season is underway. Labor intensive, it temporarily halts other work not related to agriculture.
My home improvement work is temporarily suspended.

Keyboard getting grimy, dusty, humid, sticky?
Well then clean it.
Then cover it up with plastic wrap



Keyboards produce no heat. They have no ventilation holes.
One layer of wrap is all thats needed. Keyboard stays clean.

Of course this is not recommended for laptops.

Three days to go: Lake Preparations

Finally there is some movement at the local lake.
Be prepared for a slight downhill obstacle course in case you "need to go."

Number placards looked like they where walking themselves into position.

I was on my way to the local bank when I noticed these two watching the parade go by.




Across the street from the bank, the grandstand had been erected a few days ago.
