Thai Mothers Day

  Three day weekend

My neighborhood seemed deserted.
Many families had decided to take the opportunity to travel.
Some went on day trips to visit parents and grandparents in nearby villages and provinces.
Heard the name That Phanom mentioned a number of times, 

  • it is a favorite Thai "Family Destination" for locals.





For me it was a quiet weekend at home.
Sangsom and home grown coconut juice was the medicine of the day, to quell my aching bones.  
A few visitors during the day.  Most complained of boredom, since their friends were out of town.
