Sunday is Election day AGAIN in Sakon Nakhon. Think its the third or fourth election in the area this year No alcohol sales until the polls close.

Sakon FC hosts Loei FC this Sunday Loi FC is 5th in the division. Sakon FC is 15th  Whether alcohol will be allowed at the game is questionable. Polls close at 3:30 pm. Game starts at 5pm.

A couple of older ladies hung a plastic bag on my front gate this morning.
I must admit I was a bit puzzled why they would hang half a dozen tea bags on my gate.
Glad I had no inclination to have a cup.

When the neighborhood kids stopped by after school, they had a good laugh at my expense.  

It's a chemical added to standing water to kill mosquito larvae.
Of course I have no idea what chemical is involved and what effect it will have on the local pond fish.

My luck also seems to be on a sudden rise. Of the three tickets purchased, two were prize winners during the half-time drawing.

 No rain during the first half of play.  A dark cloud circled the field for a good half hour. First spotted to the left of us, it moved behind us, in front of us. Even on top of us it didn't seem to produce any rain

A Sakon FC player received the first red of the day.
A red card for the Yasothon team turned into some pushing and shoving. Security had to intervene.
