Disputed Birth of Sakon Nakhon FC

Even though the date is disputed by some, the team had it's opening ceremony on 17 May 2005 into the professional league. The team had already participated in professional league games before the official ceremony

Think it was more of a provincial entity until 2010 when the team was reborn and control was given to the present owners. 

In 2010 the team was moved to the City Municipal stadium from the Sakolrajwittayanukul School stadium

. . . that's my thought about today's football game when the Monkey King Army (Rasi Salai United)comes to Sakon Nakhon.

Most of the Sakon Nakhon team players were brought in from other provinces midseason.  There ain't many locals on the team at this time.

Rasi Salai United is third in the T3NE league and experienced a string of wins this season.

Appears more obvious that Sakon Nakhon FC will be relegated to Thailand Amateur League next season.

With seven games left in the season, the team would need at least five wins to continue in league 3NE.

Yasothon is 11th in the league with 16 points, 

while Sakon Nakhon is 13th with 5 points.  

If there is any hope for a winning game 

Wednesday game should be it.

After the expenditures related to recent eye surgery, even I am tightening the reins on expenditures.  Had hoped to see the game in Yasothon today, but decided to stay within my budget.

First Impression : Mahasarakham players much more agile, especially early in the game

Just before gametime it was suggested that the team suffered from "cold weather illness." I'm translating that as everyone has a cold, or a case of the flu. 

The first big surprise was the apparent early 'on field injury.'

The referee appeared to recover quickly. 

Refereeing throughout the game seemed flawless
