Football Spending

I had put out the word that I would no lonher sponsor football teams. It's not just about the money, but how it is spent. 

I was asked to help out with Sunday's participation fee. So I did. 

Threw bundles of 100 baht notes (US$3) in the air, the quickest players got the money. Also donated some lunch money. 

The team won three games, lost the final game in a shootout. 

I never believed a shootout should determine the winners, it's just plain luck.

OPINION: There was plenty of pushing and shoving during the game which the referee seemed to ignore and should have been carded

Four changes to T3NE (Thai League 3 Northeastern Region) from previous season

1. Last season 13 teams in league, this season 14 teams 

2. Mashare Chaiyaphum relegated to the amateur league

3. Khon Kaen FC downgraded from T2 league

4. Sisaket Rasisalai upgraded from amateur league

Much to do in Sakon Nakhon

They pilled on a whole bunch of activities for this three day weekend. 

On top of that they finally eased some of the rules for restaurants.

I started my day with a shortened visit to the Chinese Shrine. It seemed one of the smallest gatherings I had ever experienced in the two decades I've visited that celebration.

Surprise was that I knew quite a few of the attendees

After that visit I was off to Tha Rae for football.  I was told 10 am and the game got under way at 10:30

Multiple evening activities at different parts: Restaurant openings, concerts, street fairs. I decided to celebrate a friend's birthday with him and his family.
