130213 Tony says: Thanks a Lot
There is no doubt in my mind without there help IE: food, help to get a visa, I would have struggled.
I really can not thank you all enough, without embarrassing folks with names Lilly and I thank you again.
I might try a bike ride to town next week l.o.l buy a few beers for you all.
I am still struggling with my knee but chin up hey, getting there.

Chinese New Year, I'm not impressed
this year
previous years
Seems to me the reserved 'elite' seating has more than tripled in size from past years, reducing the public seating in the square.
To make up for the public seating, two rows of tables where set up in the street leading away from the square, making foot traffic cumbersome.

previous years
Plenty of food stalls. Lots of variety, everything from oysters to steak.
Something very obviously missing from this year's celebration
were the historical exhibits of the past ↓
Past years there were multiple street entertainers. This year I just saw one group.
Makes me wonder if the Red Cross Fair is stealing the thunder from the Chinese New Year celebrations.
Just wasn't enticed enough to stick around for the show this year.
