Lost in Translation: Talk Dirty to me
Male ชาย (pronounced chai)
Female หญิง- (pronounced ying)
In an electronics shop, I asked a woman stocking the shelf for an 'extension" wire for my headset. As she showed me a wrong wire, I told her "chai and ying." The young lady looked at me perplexed for just a second, then her face lit up and she handed me the correct wire. She held up the wire, in a shop staffed by about six women, and proclaimed loudly: "CHAI - YING." I left the store with my purchase to the sound seven women giggling in unison |

Birthday with Football and Breakfast
Delayed events. Super bowl ( by 3 hours, my 74 th birthday by 4 days ) I have always loved watching the Super Bowl but not at 6:30 am, at that hour I couldn't tell a touch down from a pat down. So I will be watching the game starting at 9:00 am Monday morning and Jom will be introducing for your pleasure , her new breakfast, corn beef hash topped with egg. You are invited . PS.
