Road safety begins with the vehicle

In all my years (12) dealing with Thai motorcycle and tire shops I have never seen anyone use one of these.

Tires are filled till it feels right. 99% of the time its overinflated. Feels like Flintstone rock tires.

Some say it's more fuel efficient, it's not.

Overinflated tires have less traction and tend to wear out quicker.

Recently had my motorcycle serviced. Felt like Fred Flintstone driving in Bedrock.

My own recollection: Offered a free tuk tuk ride to a major mall. We were dropped off across the street at a gem shop and had to endure a sales pitch.

The following day another offer for a free ride, same place. Upon arrival this time we departed the tuk tuk and crossed the street to the mall. The driver stood there somewhat dumbfounded. That was some twenty years ago.
