After the rainy season comes the Bug Season

Keep in mind that you're getting the entire bug, so don't be surprised if your breath smells like CRAP. Saw a couple roaches approach my abode. Best solution is talc (baby powder). Roaches and other crawlers tend to stay away.  Of course Dish soap is a handy and safe alternative |

สกลนคร B stands for Sawang Daen Ding
Except for 2008 I've attended at least one or two matches of the Phu Phan Cup since 2005. The games generally take place in November with the exception of 2016 when the trophy match Phu Phan Cup game was held December 29. Rivals in the games are from provinces in the isaan region of Thailand. Rumors have it there's a friendly wager amongst governors. Think one year it was a bottle of ... ?  My favorite cup moments are the opening ceremony, the final halftime show, and the closing ceremonies.  |

Wedding
I divided the day attending a wedding celebration at three different times in order not to exert myself.   Traffic had been diverted the previous day. I attended the monks ceremonies in the morning, till my body told me I needed some rest.   A shorter visit midafternoon as the heat got me me quite quickly.  By evening the main road had been reduced to one lane, a complete kitchen on site       |

US Veterans day 11 November 2017
Originally designated as Armistice Day at the end of WW1, celebrated on the 11th day, on the 11 month, with a two minute silence at the 11th hour.
In the US Congress amended a bill on June 1, 1954, replacing "Armistice" with "Veterans Day."
In the UK two separate events are celebrated on that day. Remembrance Day is a memorial to all fallen soldiers, while Armistice day celebrates the end of WW1.
