My May Day 2014

When Thais are cremated, the ashes scattered or enshrined, the deceased is not forgotten.
A commemorative gathering is held 100 days after the death called "THAM BUN 100 WAN".

Eight years later there is another commemoration.  We were invited to such a celebration yesterday, celebrating the father and husband of the Sakon Nakhon FC team owners.

The event was held at the Sakon Nakhon FC training camp. Friendly football games were held all afternoon.  We arrived during the final two matches.

Just before sunset tables where brought out onto the field and a celebration with free food, drink, and entertainment began.

It was one of those pleasant evenings with friends which I'll file under
"Happy Moments In Thailand."
