More Water Reservoirs Needed to sustain a Nation

Drought is over in Thailand 
but water is still in short supply

CHAI NAT – Rain in upstream provinces has eased supply problems at the Chao Phraya Dam, whose water level has risen above the crisis threshold.

A year or two ago, water was released from dams in anticipation of the rainy season.  Due to lack of additional  reservoirs, the water was 'sent out to sea." 
That season or the next, less 'than normal' rain was experienced.  

This year, to date, even less rain than last year.
