Temperatures remain High Rainy season begins Mid May

Even though the main weather system seems to be moving west to east, recent rains, there've been a few, have all come from the northeast. 

An indication that the weather patterns are beginning to shift.

Temperatures will remain high through the middle of May.  Occasional scattered  thunderstorms.

The nation should get some relief from the sweltering weather next month as the rainy season begins, the Meteorological Department says.
