No one has died from an overdose

Saw parts of the CNN produced documentary 'Weed," part 1 on TV. It discussed the pros and cons, the fears and hopes without apparent prejudices.

Seems pot can cause irreversible brain damage to the young and should require a legal consumption age similarly to alcohol laws, age 21.

Most interesting to me were the health benefits claims. It's not the THC affecting startling results. There are 483 known chemical compounds in cannabis with benefits discovered in the treatment of  acne, ADD, anxiety, arthritis, cancer, chronic pain, depression, diabetes, Dravet syndrome, epilepsy, glaucoma, Huntington’s Disease, inflammation, mood disorders, multiple sclerosis, neuropathic pain, Parkinson’s, schizophrenia, and neurodegenerative diseases such as Alzheimer’s.CBD has also been shown to stop the spread of cancer cells.

The regular user is better able to control his behavior than the occasional user.

Cannabis can be grown without traces of thc, just as poppies can be grown without their chemical compounds

To the anonymous writer who deleted his own comment. There are no illicit drugs in my home or in my possession.
I do have an interest in the history and especially medical research.
