190517 Sakon Nakhon hosts Nong Bua Pitchaya Saturday 4 pm at the provincial stadium

At the moment Sakon Nakhon is in 11th place while Nong Bua is in 12th place.  There are 13 teams in the T4 NE League.

190515 Thailand Mandatory Health Insurance clarified UPDATE: June 13

190613 The health insurance requirement goes into effect July 1.  The headlines in the days to follow should be a further clarification of who is affected. Most insurance I have seen advertised was quite reasonable until age 70.

When the news  first broke I was in a bit of a panic mode, ready to start packing
Hours after first reading the story (with some experience in media and propaganda) I realized the full story evolves over days, weeks and more, till all the facts become clear.  

Even now all the facts are not clear, but my question "... does it apply to NON-RE ?" has been answered.  

What it does show is the inadequacies of some of the local media which should have reported the full facts from the beginning.  It would have avoided a lot of panic and heartburn.

190513 Busy weekend ends school vacation

Some schools started last week with a half day introduction schedule.  Many officially start today

Last night heavy traffic  ended a three day festival at the Sakon Nakhon Waterfront

Earlier in the day at Robinson, the Miss Sakon Nakhon contest, part of the Miss Thailand contest

190513 The penalty shot at Yasothon

I arrived over an hour early at the Yasothon stadium, the Sakon Nakhon team arrived shortly thereafter. Tropical rain started 15 minutes before the game and lasted for half an hour. There where plenty of slip and slide moments when I could do nothing but laugh.
Otherwise it was one of the more exciting games I have seen in some time.
Yasothon attendance is a lot more than what we see here in Sakon Nakhon.
Yasothon was able to score in the final minute ending the game in a 2 -2 tie

190512 Sometimes you wish there was a video to prove the referee in error

It definitely looked to me that the Yasothon player should have received at least a yellow card or more appropriately a red card. Instead the referee awarded a yellow to the Sakon Nakhon player.Very obviously the referee seemed to overlook some Sakon Nakhon 'mistakes after that,' as if to ...
