Coco nuts

My favorite refreshment, fresh coconut juice and Thai rum.

Planted some coconut trees three years ago. Not a difficult act.
Just throw a coconut on the ground and be patient.

Wondered when I would see some fruit.
They are starting to show, but I guess I'll have to wait a bit longer for that 'homegrown' cocktail.

Smoke could be seen throughout the city.
All roads to the area where closed to traffic as fire trucks rushed between the fire scene and water supply.
A number of warehouses where heavily damaged.



The performance of local emergency services (police, fire) were quite impressive.

Update: All buildings have been repaired since the fire
