Too many ðŸą cats in my neighborhood

You can hear catfights multiple times during a day and a night.
If not fights then catscreams.
Driving down a 300 yard roadway I counted four cats running for cover in front of my motorcycle.
There's a lot of households with cats, more than one per household, including a few litters. JUST WAY TOO MANY.
A while back I had to have my neighbors litter removed from my gutters. Quite often I get wakend by cats jumping on my metal awnings

Killing bugs without toxins and keeping pets at a distance

I use the stuff around my neck and ankles while sitting in front of my computers early in the morning.
Keeps all biting insects at bay.
Also keeps dogs at a distance.
Whenever Lucy 'invites me to play' and I'm not interested, I show her the bottle and she heads to her hideout under the   couch.
Considering citronella plants   around the yard near doorways

Why I don't like geckos in the house

Gecko, lizards, toads, salamanders and frogs frequently carry bacteria called Salmonella that can cause serious illness in people.

Geckos and other reptiles can also carry fleas ticks and mites

I don't mind them outside the house where they keep the mosquito population down.

Inside, especially in the kitchen, I've learned to catch them with a large bowl and take them outside.

Don't leave any food uncovered. They might not eat it, but most likely check it out and walk over it.

Then there is Gecko Poop which contains salmonella and can remain on walls and just about anywhere else. Resembles the shape of black rice.
