Cold Weather Health Alert: Wash it before you wear it

Folks around here tend to buy used winter clothing and bedding.

It's only needed for a short cold season

The 2011-2012 cold season seems a bit longer than normal to me.

120 Baht for a coat that could keep you warm in the coldest conditions.
New that jacket would set you back US$30 or twice that.

Advise friends and family to

•  thoroughly wash and dry all used clothing purchases
   before wearing them

Even though most shops tend to adhere to the law and sanitize clothing before sale, 

there are many seasonal  curbside vendors whose clothing was not properly cleaned after transit.

• Unsanitized clothing may contain an array of bugs, acquired during transit 
• Illnesses or Rashes may develop !!

Wasn't in a 'night out mood,' so I handed out some cash with instructions to bring back pictures of the fair.

In all fairness, pictures were taken around 6 PM, dinner time.  Possibly why there seem to be few fair goers.
Concert performances generally start a bit later than that.

I was utterly pissed when I received a photo of a trash can with the note "A picture of you."

Paced around most of the day angrily thinking out loud "HOW DARE HE"

After I simmered for hours I returned  to GOOGLE TRANSLATE
I found the alternate translation:
"A picture for you."

It's a computer generated message notifying me that a Thai friend had posted a picture on his home page, neither of me, nor for me.

Of course I'm, glad I didn't stomp over to my friend's house and give him a lesson in vulgar English.  I had considered doing just that.
