Thai inflation rose most in December 2012 since November 2011. CNBC
Most of the increase was attributed to food prices.
At the market, produce prices are up.
Vendors blame it on the fact that it's the cold season. Doubtful.
Days into the new year, the price of a favorite brew went up 3฿ (US 10¢).
Brew prices were hiked previously, less than 6 months ago.
The nationwide minimum wage hike, effective January 1, 2012, will have little effect on inflation.

Unemployed Thais are returning to their home provinces, now that the minimum wage is enforced nationwide.

No announcement of a grand opening of the CM Center.
From the looks of things it's not too much longer.
There's no parking at the center, but I noticed the empty lot across the street had been leveled recently.

Covering the canal running along the north side of the new shopping center is almost complete.
Metal sheets and cement slabs cover the canal. The way the metal walkways have been placed, I suspect there'll be a few people tripping on the edges

It stands to reason that the club has a new sponsor. Muang Thai is an insurance company.
With a sponsor, the team may retain their better players and this could be the year the team excels.
Sakon Nakhon Muang Thai FC travels to Udon Thani for a preseason game there, tomorrow, January 5.
A home preseason game against Udon Thani is scheduled for January 13, 3:30 PM (postponed from Jan 12) and the Patana field.
Team player selection will be finalized and contracts signed on January 18.
January 18 is also the day Patana school will have it's sport day, with a parade on I.T.U.
That week will be quite busy with local sport events.
Two (independent) Futsal competitions begin January 14.
One of the Futsal competitions includes the team I am sponsoring.
When I was shown the order for the jerseys, I expected each player's name on the jersey, not my name on every shirt in huge letters.
There's a whole lot of money being carried in this parade.

Some parade goers seemed overly happy. The I spotted the Leo and realized why.
