UK TV recently had a few days of free access to all their channels.  Most impressive was uninterrupted scrolling even during peak evening hours.

Weather forecasts have been extremely inaccurate recently.

Rain forecast over the last few days did not materialize, just some ominously dark clouds to the south.

I looked at weather maps and realized there'd be no rain.

I did not mention it, six weather services can't all be wrong.

I have a stack of Mini DV films, some in Pal, others in NTSC.
I am able to record the PAL videos, but need to borrow an NTSC camera to transfer the videos to disk.
