The notice was given to farmers in the Chao Phraya river basin.
Isan farmlands are bone dry. The only spring planting will most likely only be where farmers have their own water supply.
At this time there is no rain in the extended forecast thru March.
The area has had no measurable rain since October.
Cold Season has taken the express out of town
Days are heating up quickly, night temperatures are warming up a bit slower.This week should be pleasant as far as temperatures are concerned.
Next week may be a whole different story. I am almost finished cleaning the pool in anticipation

The eagle looks familiar, but I don't think it's a US eagle.Now where have I seen that eagle before?
