Udon FC beats Sakon FC 1-0,

..bad call by referee

The Sakon Nakhon goal should have counted. The Udon goal keeper ran into the Sakon player, then dropped to the ground, as if injured. a minute went by before the referee blew his whistle to nullify the score.

Udon did have quite a few injury times out, many were justified, yet some were very obvious attempts to gain sympathy from the referee.  I would not be surprised if the referee is a Udon resident.

There were plenty of exciting moments, but at times the game seemed a bit sluggish probably due to the afternoon heat and humidity.  The arrival of the heatwave was quite noticeable.

Phuket Boat Sinks all rescued

Officials say the boat was not registered and operating illegally in the popular tourist area.

Here comes the HEAT WAVE

All weather services, with the exception of the Thai Meteorological Department (TMD) are forecasting a quick temperature increase starting today, with temperatures by midweek reaching 34 to 37C.

TMD predicts high temperatures at 32 for the same period.

Of interest is the Tropical Depression Kajiki, now over the Philippines. As it heads west, indications are that it may not increase to a higher storm category.  If so, it most likely will diminish when it hits land, and have no effect locally.  Still something to keep an eye on
