This week daily scattered thunderstorms, some heavy

For the moment weather is arriving from the southeast.
Weather directions have been alternating quite frequently in recent months.

View of yesterday's 10 minute rain storm.

Temperatures this year have frequently been been 3 to 5 degrees (C) higher than temperatures of the past four years

Arrival of the dry season previously forecast for mid-month September is postponed until the end of the month

This week with the exception of noon hours expect humidity mostly in the 80 and 90% range

My observation: There is a relationship with the lunar calendar and the weather seasons.  It's still considered mostly folklore, but some scientists tend to agree there is some influence on ocean currents.  The rainy season tends to be somewhat regulated by moon phases.  The next full moon is October 8, 2014. Around the same time we can expect the dry season to begin

increase of Thai travel articles
appearing on the net

A month or so ago Thailand entertained a large number of travel agents and writers with a free tour of Thailand.  The only requirement was that they would promote Thai tourism.

As a result in recent weeks there has been an increase of Thai travel articles appearing on the net.

Mahasarakham FC scores
during the last 10 seconds of the game

Just two days before Saturday's game the field was mostly under water

Picture here Pattana Suska School Football Field Under water

Most of the water had run off by Friday but the field remained mostly saturated and muddy

No rain was to disrupt the game as cumulus clouds moved from south to north

Sakon Nakhon experienced a number of successive near misses.
At one point four misses separated by seconds.

It was an exiting game and hopes were high that the game would end with a Sakon Nakhon win.

There were occasional humorous moments of slipping and sliding in the mud

All attempts for a goal by both teams were foiled by the goal keepers
Sakon Nakhon Players relaxed prematurely and Mahasarakham scored in the final seconds of the game.
