World Economy in low gear

Thailand's June exports tumble most since 2011 despite weaker baht - The Economic Times
I suspect the baht will have to tumble a bit more before buyers regain interest

More rain please

First photo: Today
Comparing it with the second photo taken July 6, I'd say the lake waterlevel has risen about a foot

Opinion:
Just like the limited hours of alcohol sales, this new law will not reduce teen drinking, it will just create another inconvenience for everyone. I have yet to see a Ma & Pa shop refuse the sale of beer because it's not within the prescribed hours.
If teens want to drink they'll easily walk or drive a city block or two. At present alcohol sales are allowed between the hours of 11 am to 2pm, generally also the time when schools have their lunch breaks.

There's a few stores and restaurants that I know of locally who will have to cease alcohol sales.  I'd expect the restaurants will most likely shut down or move to new locations.

Week ahead: Rainy Season

Light to medium rain, heavy at times, till the end of the week
