This El Niño is one of the strongest on record

Graphic by NOAA
Ocean temperatures are rising.
This El Nino is claimed to be stronger than the strongest on record in 1997.
In 1997 forest fires from Indonesia resulted in a haze which spread in all directions, Thailand Philippines, Australia.
In that year the Haze extended up the Mekong region.

Strong effects of this El Nino may continue until April of next year. Part of the 1997 El Nino caused extensive flooding in Thailand the following year (1998).
Of course much of the predictions are based on previous experiences, therefore there's still plenty of uncertainty

Showing alcohol labels on social media is going to get expensive

The article hints that additional regulations will be announced in December.  Publishing any photos showing alcohol labels on the web, or on posters is illegal in Thailand
Uploading a selfie to social media and you could find yourself in very hot water with Thai authorities—if you’re holding a bottle or can of alcohol that is.
