Most let you switch languages between English and Thai

USTVNOW No longer offers 5 free channels as they had previously done. The choice of 23 channels offered for $29 is 'meager,' (to put it politely).

Tried  IPTV for a year with thousands of channels advertised.  I found it frequently not reliable and decided not to renew

Using HD PRIME , lately they've been having problems maintaining some of the local programming.
Otherwise my prefered choice for price and quality 380B monthly for TV


AIS TV is changing their programming this month.  Seems like offering a bit less for a lesser price. Not a bad choice for the price

It's the hot season

Daylight savings time started yesterday back in the US. No such time adjustment here in Thailand.  Only people interested will be those who watch US and other country television.
Whereas I used to watch east coast evening news at 6:30 am local time.  I'll now start watching the west coast evening news at 7:30



Exchange rate not favorable. Had considered buying a new motorcycle, but I'll put that on hold till the odds are more favorable. For now I'll stick with a tuneup.

It's a free service with advertisement, or you can pay $22 per year to avoid the ads. Carries many countries TV.  

I've been watching US, UK, Australia, Canada, Germany and a few other European TV stations broadcasting English language movies or TV series.

It's not a five star service, more likely three star.
Not able to get any New Zealand channels except a religious channel.
The UK channel 'movies 4 men' is actually a UK Arabic channel. A few occasional other glitches Fox UK is actually Fox Germany broadcast in English.

Football and American Football

Saturday went to Police Cup in Sawang Daen Din for another game in the 'Police Cup.' The 4 -2 win insured the next game on Sunday, October 28. This should be close to the Semi Finals.

For the past few days I've been watching a lot of television.  Recently added ADIPTV to my TV streams listing.  Until now I had only known of USTV NOW for US television, which is mostly east coast. The ADIPTV service has some west coast channels, a three hour difference.

Just glad the problem is solved

The response I received: Since the beginning of the month, we have had some lingering issues related to renewing the security certificate of our servers. Due to a change in specifications, it caused many issues with streaming for many customers. Today the last of these problems should be cleared up, and you should be able to watch as before. If not, please do let me know ASAP. We will arrange to provide an extension to your packages to make up for the downtime.  If you wish a four day extension to your package, I recommend you send an email, requesting that extension.  It's not something I will pursue.

Net television alternatives

hdprime.tv still has movies and series available, however live tv has not been available since 1 May.
The sister system u play is still available at 150 baht per month for TV. Some UK TV, mostly Thai, plenty of sport channels. 
Did send HDPrime an inquiry email on 2 May,no reply.

In searching replacement TV providers I came across 'First Ones.' Multiple countries listed.  I'm testing out some US and UK channels.

With VPN's you are most likely confronted with a variety of package payment plans. Make sure it's trustworthy. After a reduced rate period of three months, monthly price is $39 for 27 channels and DVR. Just for registering you get 6 free channels, but if it's a major event you most likely will be blocked.  I use the free service to watch the evening network news   36 UK IPTV channels €7.99 to 9.99 (US $9.69 to $12.11), monthly and annual prices, multiple screen option.  One free hour daily once you register. Experienced no buffering delays  Available only in Thailand 600 channels 380 THB US $12.05 Monthly and yearly packages available.  Plenty sport channels. Register with your Thai telephone number. Occasional connectivity problems especially with UK channels Available only in Thailand 150 THB monthly. Mostly Thai, some UK channels and plenty of sport channels  Up to six months free when you subscribe to AIS internet provider. 600 baht per month with plenty pay movie channels I'm not quite finished with this list, but have other things to do. Times have changed

Real feel high 40,    rain chance decreases after 4 pm,    humidity rises late afternoon 2004 to about 2008 television satellite dishes were sold locally for pirated signals from the Philippines and Africa.  Philippine signal provided a number of US channels, while the African satellite provided numerous sport channels.   At one time I had two dishes. One with a directional motor.  System codes needed to be updated once a day.  There was a website which provided code updates. Times have changed.  These days almost everything is available on the net, and at reasonable prices.  I could never see the sense in paying outrageous prices for 300 channels when I never watched more than a dozen. Right around the time I started this blog , January 2009, I stopped bothering with downloading pirated movies.   There's much legal free stuff available these days.  I'm rebuilding my list of TV streams, as many come and go. My list is of free or inexpensive mostly live feeds.  If you know of a feed for checking, please leave a comment

Freebies you have to sort through to find the ones you want to revisit

Got this link for free tv streaming and video: freeintertv. You have to do a bit of weeding through.  Many "live feeds" are youtube feeds.  Then there's a lot of movies from youtube. There are quite a few live feeds worth bookmarking. You have to search and find them.  Nice thing : hardly any buffering delays.   freeintertv appears to be a subsidiary of film on, a pay service. Click on any subscribe link and you'll be sent to the $15 per month pay service. The FILMON site setup is not very user friendly, look for the premium tv list and you get an OP'S.
