Even on my motorcycle, whenever tires are repaired or tubes replaced, no one has a tire gauge.  Tires are generally overinflated, which can lead to dangerous driving conditions and require more frequent replacement.  To date I have not seen a tire gouge in use at any motorcycle shop I have been to.

Wherever you are in Thailand during the Loi Krathong holidays, the events take place near rivers, creeks and lakes.  Here in Sakon City, the place to celebrate is Saphanthong Park, at the city's waterfront. Things begin to happen in the late afternoon. Inside the park, near the reviewing stands, officials, security, media and general public begin to assemble.  Around sunset a parade enters the park, bringing with them royal and other dignitaries krathongs. You can purchase your own 'floating basket' at stalls througout the city
