Martins wall is now near ground level

During yesterday's visit I noted sides caving in due to the water table. Notice the red brick wall upper left
That wall has now slipped into the trench.  Ropes fastened to the wall were to keep the water pipes stable
Also in danger of slipping into the hole is a cement electric pole
I advided Martin that he should be fastened to a safety rope

It's fat and it's red, but I guess 'fat' may be insulting

The restaurant was to be named the Fat Pig.  Something definitely got lost in translation by the time the sign painter was done.  Guess the pig (right picture) is a bit red.

Even though pig would refer to pork on the menu, my favorite  a chef's speciality, drunk chicken.

Almost mistook the creature on the menu cover for another animal

Daily specials are posted on a chalkboard

Of course the beer can is removed before serving.
It's a Sunday evening dinner favorite of mine at Colin's  "Fat Pig," where reservations are a prerequisite (sunday dinners only). It's a three course meal followed by desert

Simply explained its a chicken beer enema

It's called Beer Can Chicken, or  Beer Butt Chicken...
... the can of beer goes in the chicken butt, after you have drunk some off the top.  Spices are added to the remaining beer.  Simply explained its a chicken beer enema

In accordance with Thai law, beer is served to the chicken after 5 pm
It's a speciality of Colin's 'My House' restaurant, back by popular demand yesterday.
I was pleasantly stuffed in a pleasant laid back atmosphere.
