Rainy season health alert

Heavy rain yesterday evening, I'd say 3 1/2 inches in a little over an hour.  I had planned to go out for the evening, but wound up in a prone position most of the evening due to medication.    When the storm began I was just happy I was at home. Would have been drenched on my motorcycle.    Thought I saw a few very large worms on paved areas. On closer examination I realized they were baby snakes.    Always been an advocate of washing your feet and legs when wading in standing water.  Changing that to take a shower and check yourself for ticks. This rainy season is turning out wetter than usual with three months to go.

To conserve finances a drain was built at the crest (center) of the road. Water builds up on the side of the road until it reaches the height of the crest I"ll have to raise the driveway a good three inches or install a drain
