Cool season starts early

It seems like the cool season is getting an early start this year.  Overnight temperatures may drop to the upper teens next week. Just for a couple of days. Shortly feels like temperatures will be identical to real temperatures (less humidity). Weather patterns are beginning to change, with most of our weather coming from the northeast.  Keep in mind short term forecasts tend to be more accurate than long range .  Long range forecasts are scientific guesses based on existing models.

Before the internet, there was radio World War II Propaganda Broadcasters Besides radio, leaflets were dropped during the Vietnam War  In one incident the US printed leaflets which encouraged Vietnamese to participate in an election (1966).  A reporter stumbled upon the leaflets and pointed out that the US was not to interfere with this  election in any form.   The reporters ultimatum burn em or be part of the evening news.  We unloaded truckloads of leaflets, dug a huge pit, had a huge bonfire.  These days propaganda is on the net.  Some more sublilital is the NEWS, which we all know is opinionated. These days propaganda goes by a new name: "FAKE NEWS."  Always check the source, anybody can start a website Media sites need to become more proactive in identifying the source, before accepting advertising money

Best way to remove black dried moss

Have tried many methods, chlorine, toilet cleaner, even powdered cement.  Best method: get it wet. When dried, the moss is hardened and solid, probably a self preservation.Soak the area in water,  keep it wet at all times for two to four days. The moss is now vulnerable to a simple garden hose.  Avoid chemicals which would damage your garden.  Dish soap is less harmful and loosens the soil Cleaned only with a garden hose

Sakon Nakhon dams under consideration for release of water

The Bangkok Post article advises provinces below the dam to prepare for possible flooding in Khon Kaen, Maha Sarakham, Roi Et and Kalasin.  HOWEVER,  this article points out there are other dams under consideration for release of water: Nam Oon (104%) and Nam Pung (101%), both  in Sakon Nakhon.
