Don't drink alcohol in public places

It is illegal to drink alcohol in public places. It can result in heavy fines and jail time.

This is especially important during the Songkran holidays when people tend to overlook this law.

You are within the law if you drink your alcohol while standing on private property.

So if you step into the street to throw water at passersby leave your alcoholic beverage behind.

She can tell time

Every day at four in the afternoon she sits in front of my easychair and gives me that "I'm ready to go" look.

Even though dogs can't tell clock time, they do have a sense of time.

Since I started the daily routine in the afternoon, she's picked up on the rytm and reminds me in case I forget.

Routine seems to apply to eating also. She gets a snack in the morning, but she won't touch those pieces of steak. I might as well refrigerate them until late afternoon

Outdoor restaurant which was severly damaged by fire last week reopens

Pictured here is the Google Maps image before the fire. Drove past there and noticed new furniture and the staff was setting up for the day's business.

Enjoyed the food and service in the past, so I plan for an evening with friends this weekend

New life at the old rice mill

Part of the rice mill property, which had seen little use since the fire of 2008 is in the process of being cleared. 

I had predicted in 2013 that the property "will eventually morph into additional shopping or housing."
