Almost three months ago PB Air terminated it's fleet contract for Embraer ERJ 145 LR, switching to leasing ATR 72-500 turboprop aircraft from Bangkok Air in order to reduce operating costs.
As told by a local airport employee (rumor), PB air has unpaid bills with Bangkok Air, subsequently Bangkok Air suspended all flights.
At this time the nearest airport to Sakon Nakhon is in Udon Thani.

Nearest airport is not Udon Thani, but Nakhon Phanom, only 80 km.
I have been unable to confirm flights to Nakhon Phanom at this time.
Note: PB air website states Nakhon Phanom is being serviced by Thai Air.

It is valid only till the 1st November. I don't know if there still is a PB Air then.. :-(

October 31 is generally when a new schedule goes into effect due to the start of the high season.
Will stop by the local office later this morning to confirm.
