If your browser runs slow clean out the Cookie Jar

Visitors to this blog, especially from EU countries, will notice the Cookies notification at the top of the page.
It's part of a EU law which actually came into effect back in 2011.

Personally I feel it's a bit overkill, as I anticipate every website I visit uses cookies.  Probably would have been more efficient if the websites not using cookies publish an appropriate notice.

If you are logging on from a non-EU country, you may not see this notice See Picture below).  I suspect with time it will become a worldwide phenomenon.

Depending how much daily surfing you do, you should clean your cookies on a regular frequency.
Best solution is to set your browser to delete all cookies before logging off.

Cookies which remain on your computer tend to gather information on a continuous basis and may slow down your browser
