Sakon Nakhon Temple Fair 2016

At my house I could count the raindrops yesterday. A few seconds, a few sprinkles. In other parts of town rain was more of a tropical downpour, as evidenced by wet streets and plenty of puddles.
I had planned on a quick trip to the temple fair to get some chestnuts for me and Avin.  That turned out to be an extended visit, because of a sepak takraw ball game later in the evening.

Walked through the temple grounds and sat at shop with a beer and peanuts. They were testing the sound system of a stage almost a block away.  They were playing Michael Jackson music and I could feel the base vibrations in my pant legs

Definitely large crowds at the fair.

Now that's a mighty big shoe

There's a puzzle I could not solve. The ground all around was wet from the rain a half hour earlier, but the playing field was dry

Met this policeman, very pleasant fellow.  Someone had told him I'm from Germany. We struck up a short conversation in German.

I did not stay around for the concert
