Exports down tourism down :: Strong baht the cause?

The lower the bar the higher the Thai Baht

In the first chart I added  January of the previous year. 

In the second chart  I added January 2017 when the exchange rate was much more favorable to tourism and trade. With the strong baht economic growth slows down
