Alcohol Banned in Restaurants effective Sunday, 9 January 2022

Of course the biggest complainers are restaurant owners and staff.
It's fact, I am not being sarcastic.

Unemployment is growing and so is the group of motorcycle food delivery drivers with no other employment options.

The questions is why the restaurant ban, when alcohol is still readily available at any market.

If it were a health issue, as some claim, then alcohol should be banned altogether. Prohibition may cause a bit of an uprising from supplier to consumer.

It appears not to be an issue of public gatherings. Football games, fairs, jet ski world cup, nothing has been cancelled YET.
I'm still searching for a plausible reason.

It's a bit like the rider(s) in the back of a pickup.
Everyone was doing it.  A few people 'fell off the wagon,'
so the good government officials decided to protect the masses, they made it illegal.

It's one of those laws that's been on the books for decades, but no enforcement.
I believe it is now allowed but there is a load limit.
