American Pete laid to rest

Pete had been suffering from liver cancer and related illnesses.

The last I had heard of him was that he was attempting to receive medical care in Bangkok a month ago.

Pete died in hospital and his wife returned him to Sakon Nakhon for funeral services.
Pete appeared to be smiling during the drive back to Sakon Nakhon, according to his devastated wife.

Exhausted from the travel, Pete's wife had little time to notify many of his western friends of the funeral.
The funeral was a bit of a Sakon Nakhon Who's Who.

If you live in Sakon Nakhon, you probably recognize one or more of the faces

Unconfirmed talk at Sakon Nakhon Apple Restaurant,

Ken Kenneth Barrett passed away Tuesday, April 9.

It is the third death of a foreigner in the Sakon Nakhon area within a week.

Two days earlier a gentleman named Ray passed away while at the hospital for stomach problems.

Graham had passed away after being involved in a motorcycle crash late last week.

I have no information of funeral arrangements for Ken or Ray as I have no contact information
