Hoping for a winning Saturday

I don't know what made me do it. I went for a drive on my motorcycle in the rain to attend the football game. I could have stayed home and watched it on the big screen. It did stop raining at start time

I knew there was 'no way in hell' that we would win, but then I also did not expect such a 4-1 thrashing.

Saturday Sakon Nakhon will host Yasothon and I expect better than a draw. This should really be a winning game

Sunday is winnable

At first I considered the odds against the local team. 

Ubon Krua Naphat FC is fourth in the league while Sakon FC is eighth.

Changed my point of view last weekend when  Ubon lost against eleventh place Udon United.

Last two Sakon Nakhon games I noticed considerable improvement in team cohesion

Sakon Nakhon FC demonstrated great 'Team Cohesion '

First half of the game was sort of a "getting to know you" period. It was also unbearably hot and I brought one fan to keep me cool.  

All scoring happened during the second half.  11minutes into the second half, then 16 minutes, 25 minutes, 37 minutes and a 5th goal at 45minutes at the start of extra time. 

 

Chaiyaphum took advantage of the temporary ruling and made five replacements.  Five replacement rule may be made permanent, a ruling is pending.

The win propelled the team from tenth to 6th place of 13 teams.  A number of teams are only one point behind, making a next game a win very important to avoid a big drop in standings.   

Next game is on the road in Ubon this Sunday
