Advance poling NO ALCOHOL sales day

The No Alcohol sales law went into effect last night at 6pm and remains in force until midnight tonight.

January 26 is the advance poling day for elections to be held (or not), on February 2.

A decission to go ahead with the election, or postpone it will be made at a meeting January 28

Security Hightened

Was at a couple of shopping centers in Udon today.
At one of the shopping centers, the undercarriage of the car was checked with mirrors at the entrance to the parking area.
All cars entering had to pop open their trunks for a visual inspection before being allowed to preceed.

It was very obvious that there was a lot more security throughout.
Possibly the Udon shooting had something to do with the increased security




Even though the shooting may be politically motivated, it may also be of a personal nature
