190429 Toward the end of the game temperatures dropped scores rose quickly

Temperatures felt like over 45 C (Over 113 F). I was feeling quite uncomfortable and questioned myself why I am out here for a football game in this heat.  

Players had a 'heat time out' once in the first and again in the second half. 
One time out was needed for the referee who needed a few moments to regain his composure.

Sakon players started off aggressive and a few players received yellow cards. After a Sakon player received a second yellow and subsequently a red card Udon had the upper hand and added three scores in rapid succession. Fourth goal at 3:03, fifth goal at 3:05, sixth goal at 3:08.

The most impressive performance of the day was by Udon player number nine

Midway though the second half dark clouds in the distance quickly dropped the thermometer down to quite cool temperatures

Under 15 rescheduled twice plays today Under 19 comes home with a draw

U15 game had been rescheduled from a missed 31 March schedule and is being played today

U19 game took place Sunday in Khon Kaen

I had high hopes which were boosted with a first goal by Sakon Nakhon U19

All hopes were shattered after two successive Roi Et goals at 4:30 and 4:32.  The Sakon goalkeeper was kept quite busy. I'd say the defensive team needs practice

On the bright side U19 had its first win.  
T4 Sakon Nakhon  had at least 9 near misses playing against Sisaket.
My opinion: The Sisaket goal was aided by heavy rains.

I figured the U15 had the best chance this weekend

Of the recent football games I had seen, I figured the U15 had the best chance this weekend. 

Muang Loi ended the 2018 season as number one, but appear to have failed to advance to the champion league.

Live feed from Loi was broken off twice early in the game. 

To say it polite: "had expected much better from T4 Sakon Nakhon FC."

Unfortunately a Sakon Nakhon U19 win has still not materialized.

I've been in Thailand long enough not to get upset and just go with the flow.  

I arrived at 3 pm thinking I was early. Opening ceremony had ended as I arrived. 

Very obvious staff changes for the U19 team. Most likely because the head coach and staff need to concentrate on the T4 season which starts next weekend.

It was a well played game, unfortunately a Sakon Nakhon U19 win has still not materialized.

Fair and Football

Red Cross Fair ends Sunday
The Sakon Nakhon U19 game with Khon Kaen, originally scheduled for January 26 and suspended, has been rescheduled for Sunday afternoon

The Sakon U15 game also suspended will be played Tuesday

T4 Football schedule is out. Sakon FC is on the road in Loei on February 10. Rules indicate if the first game is away, the final game of the season will be at home

Win continues to elude U-19 Sakon FC

U19 Sakon FC Hosted Nong Bua Lamphu SA (Sport Association).  Lineup changes from a previous game were obvious.  Action was fast paced and Nong Nua Lamphu had the upper hand during the first half.  They kept the Sakon FC goal keeper very busy. During the second half Sakon FC offense seemed to have gotten into high gear, unfortunately not fast enough to improve the final score 4-3 loss.

U19 Sakon FC suffers 4-2 defeat by Khon Kaen

Overall a fun afternoon, not considering the loss of the game. With my 600 mm lens I get to see the game close up. After the game, and quite often the following day, I get to revisit the game while editing the photographs.
I'm just guessing here, but I suspect at least a few players may make it to the Sakon FC league team this year.  And the lottery numbers are ...

Scoreless yet very exciting

I tend to start early for an event, just in case there's a mishap. Sunday was no exception.  I'd been told the football game is in the stadium down the street.  At least they all pointed that way. But then it turned out to be the stadium in that direction a few more miles down the road.

I arrived early, checked out a good location on the sideline with some shade to have a good camera view. No hassle, in fact a police officer brought me a chair.  I declined that offer since I do have a more comfortable folding chair.

U19 football seems to have more energy than the divisional teams.  Best way to describe the game was "fast and furious."

The goal defender was kept quite busy and I thought he was the MVP of the game
