Motocross video by DJMZAA

There have been a number of videos of the recent Motocross event in Sakon Nakhon.
This one is the best in my opinion.

Did not attend the race personally.  Couldn't find and soundproofing earmuffs to protect my sensitive ears.

This video shows a bit of the audience, which other videos did not.  Seemed to have been fairly well attended.
What caught my eye was the winners podium: 'Painted oil drums.'  That had to be a careful balancing act!

Sakon FC at Amnat Charoen

Even though Sakon FC did not play on Saturday, due to games that were played, Sakon FC had slipped to 11th place.

Today's 4-1 win at Amnat Charoen has advanced the team to 10th place.
The team could easily advance their division standing next Sunday, when they host Nong Bua Lamphu.  Even though game time is scheduled to start at 5 pm.  Most previous start times had been changed to 4 pm.

Nong Bua Lamphu is second from the bottom in the division, having won only one game this season, with 6 draws and 5 losses.

O- blood donors sought

76 year old Thomas Ryan is presently in the Sakon Nakhon hospital, awaiting surgery.
The operation can not proceed until the hospital has a supply of O-negative blood.

If you have this rare blood type your help would be greatly appreciated.

Mid Week Hot! Hot! Hot!

Friday's early morning rain storm measured just slightly over an inch.
Saturday's rainfall measured 1.5 inches within three hours.
Guess these are measurements for the entire  Sakon Nakhon province.
Around my neighborhood it sounded like a hell of a lot more.

Thunderstorms, mostly at nights, will begin to diminish.
Overnight humidity starts to rise in early evening to 90% by 3 am.

Wednesday, Thursday, Friday HOT! HOT! HOT!
37 feels like 47

Water levels at neighboring properties are well beyond ankle deep.
This morning's rains brought on a loud concert of frogs and toads.  Both eat mosquito larvae.
