Katzen Jammer at 4 o'clock

  • Katze: Cat
  • Jammer: bitchiness, loud complaints, worry, misery, pity, lament, woe, wailing
Fat Boy

I'm not especially fond of cats.  'Nearly' hate them.
Probably because of a childhood experience.
My neighbors have a cat colony.
Most of those cats know to leave when I'm around.

Shortly after 4 am I heard excruciatingly loud cat screams.
Less than a minute of that noise,
I had enough of and went to shoo the cats away.
One cat in a tree, fat boy had chased her there.
A tiny cat on the ground, eyes not yet open.
I was amazed that such a tiny thing could create so much noise.
Once I had the tiny cat in my hand it quieted and went to sleep.
Slept in my lap until I took it to my neighbor at 7 am, hence it obviously came from.
My neighbor laughingly denied ownership,
but took it, still laughing, when I pointed to his cats with similar markings.
Think his dilemma is that he can't afford all the spying and neutering.
Even though I dislike cats, since my neighbor has so many,
I've not had to clean out a rats nest in my attic.

Sakon FC at it's best

Sakon FC faced Nakhon Phanom in Nakhon Phanom, Saturday.

The action was intense and non-stop: Exciting!!
The way I see it, it was the best performance by both teams this season.
The stadium wasn't filled, but it was the largest crowd I'd witnessed at any Sakon game this year.
The crowd was great, no booing just cheering and plenty of groaning at the many near misses.

Even though the game ended with a tied score 1 -1, Sakon FC has risen from last place and is  assured that it does not face a one year suspension.
That dubious honor most likely will go to Mukdahan or Ubon.

♥ Sakon F & F

Thailand football:  MY VIEW

Recently watched televised Japan vs Iraq game in Japan.
The stadium was packed. No empty seat in sight.

Then I watched Thailand host Laos.
The view across the field showed just empty seats, no people.
When they did show the audience briefly, it was sparse (thinly scattered)

There is better attendance at many of the Thailand PRO League games

A recent Futsal game resulted in two casualties.
Not pictured is the ball, which burst when kicked.
The second ball, pictured above, well what are the chances?

Nakhon Phanom Bound

It's a little over an hour's drive, probably a bit longer by team bus.
The trip should not really wear out the Sakon FC players
The big question is: "Can they do it again?
Sakon FC defeated Nakhon Phanom in a home game earlier this year.
Now they face the team on their turf tomorrow, Saturday, Sept 15.
It would be grrrrreat  if the season ended with some wins.

The final game of the season is a home game Sept 22, when Sakon FC hosts  Chaiaphum
