My Sakon Nakhn Government Hospital Vsit

I had a successful cataract operation before Christmas (Dec 17).
Today I had my first followup doctors exam scheduled at 8 am.
I arrived at 7:30.  Played musical chairs and paperwork for two hours.
Got to see the doctor at 9:45.
Doctors exam took a little over a minute with a prescription for eye drops.
Then I had to wait for 10 minutes for another clerk to tell me to go to the drug prescription station.
No complaint about the medical visit which cost 165 Baht including eyedrops.
But their two hour paperwork shuffle seems a bit out of hand.

The one thing I am just very grateful for, since I don't speak the language, I was given a personal escort from one paperwork station to the next.

ABSOLUTELY NO COMPLAINTS ABOUT HOSPITAL STAFF,
but the paperwork involved just seemed extreme.
Think I'll cancel the next followup appointment and visit the doctor.  It may cost more, but I know I won't have to postpone breakfast and lunch

Protest leaders say, however, that these stages will be dismantled and that protest sites will be dispersed to many different intersections spread throughout downtown Bangkok, including Asok, Lumpini, Ratchaprasong, and Silom intersections. Protests may also

Protesters disrupt final performance of the Phuket Red Cross Fair
This is somewhat worrying since the local Temple Fair begins this week, followed by the Red Cross Fair.
I hope none of the performers scheduled to appear have taken political sides.

Why I am at home with severe back aches

They were mopping the floor at Apples when I arrived.
Not rinsing the mop, the cement residue was just being moved around.
I mopped and rinsed twice.  It looks good.
