Female หญิง- (pronounced ying)
In an electronics shop, I asked a woman stocking the shelf for an 'extension" wire for my headset.
As she showed me a wrong wire, I told her "chai and ying."
The young lady looked at me perplexed for just a second, then her face lit up and she handed me the correct wire.
She held up the wire, in a shop staffed by about six women, and proclaimed loudly: "CHAI - YING."
I left the store with my purchase to the sound seven women giggling in unison
