 I thought about leaving early many times during this game. The longer I stayed, the worse it got  The worst defeat for Sakon Nakhon. Just last week Sakon FC lost 5-0 to Surin. One more away game and this season is over. Sakon Nakhon FC had it's best year in 2010, it's been downhill every since. Some major retooling is needed if the team expects to do better next season |

Hired car and driver. went off on my own
Police check in point along the river to insure tourists made it through safely. A superb luncheon stop during the boat ride. Boat engine noise had me hard of hearing for an hour after the trip
Stopped off to see the morning elephant show just outside Chiang Mai.
Then headed north on the curviest road I had ever been on. Stopped at a cave.
Then took a two hour boat ride to Chiang Rai
