Thanks a Lot

I'd like to express my sincere thanks for the many well wishes, visits, food and assistance I have received since my recent accident.
Special thanks to my friend Samart, who has been chauffeuring me for my daily medical treatments.

The motorcycle accident occurred when I hit a rut in the road while driving at night.  The rut separated the road and shoulder.  The shoulder was about 2 to 3 inches lower than the highway.
Joey, who was with me at the time walked away with a few bruises and did not require medical attention.

Yesterday I had four stitches removed from above my eye and am thankful that I did not lose my eye.  Still have bandages replaced daily on my arm and knee.

Probably will be another week before I can catch up on going places

Cold season ends

No more night temperatures in the low teens.
Time to service the fans for optimal performance.
Air conditioners should be humming next week.
Expect nighttime temperatures in the mid twenties,  (mid 70's F)
Daytime highs,  low 40's C, (low 100's F)

Community Hospital

Many times had wondered what function the building at the south end of the football field served. It's a community hospital as I found out. Went there to have my  wound dressings changed.

Sakon Nakhon's Royal visit

Decorations went up last wednesday, with talk of a royal visit.
When I went to the adjacent clinic this morning security was tight around the school grounds. I was there to get my bandages changed.
There was a temporary pause in my treatment, most likely as everyone rushed to the window to watch.  Treatment completed I left the clinic and observed five helicopters on the football field.  I was told that the princess was here to dedicate a new library
